In Denmark, egg donation can be offered to couples as a treatment when pregnancy with their own eggs is not possible. If there is a medical indication, we also offer double donations, in which egg cells and sperm cells are donated.

We have no waiting times for IVF or ICSI treatment and our staff are always there to support you throughout the process.

We have no waiting time for egg donors!

We will examine you both beforehand so that we can be sure that we can offer you the best possible treatment.

We offer you advice on a possible choice of sperm donation, egg donation and, in general, all forms of modern fertility treatment.

initial consultation
Before you can begin your course of treatment, you must have the initial consultation with us. The goal of the consultation is to get to know you better and to give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the course of treatment.

The interview usually lasts an hour and can be conducted either on site at the clinic, by telephone or online.

Before the interview, you will need to fill out a questionnaire that we will send you when you book an appointment for the initial consultation with us. It would make sense for you to think about a possible sperm donation and possible egg cell donation, if necessary, before the interview.

IVF/ICSI

In an IVF treatment, the egg and sperm cells do not come together in the woman’s body, but in a laboratory in a test tube. Therefore, the method is also called “in-vitro”, which means “in the glass”.

For example, IVF is an option if:

  • the woman’s fallopian tubes are blocked or completely missing,
  • the semen quality of the man is reduced,
  • the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, or
  • if no cause of sterility is found during clarification.

Egg donation

Egg donation means that a woman donates her unfertilized eggs to another woman who does not have any eggs for fertilization herself.

In egg donor, another woman’s egg is fertilized with sperm from your partner or sperm donor and then placed in your uterus. This treatment is used if you do not produce eggs of sufficient quality yourself or if you have a genetic disease that you do not want to pass on to your children.
